Géranne “Gerry” Darbouze
GTM & Product Marketing Strategist | Creative at Heart
I’m Géranne Darbouze, but you can call me Gerry.
I like to think I find the gap between what a business is saying and what people actually need to hear.
That might mean figuring out why a campaign isn't converting, finding the audience that actually influences the purchase, turning a complicated product into a story people understand, or building the marketing system a company didn't have yesterday.
I don’t just “do strategy.” I like getting my hands on the work.
I’ve spent the last eight years moving between film, television, museums, agencies, startups, and in-house teams, working across strategy, research, writing, design, and production for companies including Nike, BMC Software, Commvault, Amae Health, Google, and others. Sometimes I’m the strategist. Sometimes I’m the writer. Sometimes I’m the designer. Usually, I’m all three.
What drives me is the human side of marketing: understanding how people think, what makes them care, and where the story a company tells itself diverges from the story its customers need to hear.
I hate boring. I like ambitious ideas, complicated problems, and teams willing to challenge the obvious answer.
That’s what I’m here for.
